Regarding Leader Boards

Simple question so pile on and tell me how stupid it is again forum denizens, but whatever.
Aren't twinks going to have an unfair advantage on the leader boards over those lower levels who play fair?
A twink can get his/her gapper toon to clear maps 4 times faster than that twink toon could and therefore get recognition for something they aren't even doing? (It's like event gear, twinks all get it without doing the work for the pieces.)
Boss kills, same thing. A twink toon on the leader board can rack up more boss kills with their gappers then the fair play people.
I read they "fixed" a ranger double damage glitch to make the leader boards "fair". So then how are leader boards going to be fair for ALL when pushing and boosting will never stop and DSO will NEVER do anything to stop it.
Leader boards, more meaningless fluff which will showcase more dishonesty than anything else.
And let the hate begin, I could care freaking less.

 

IMO this feature should be only available for end game players, but that's just my opinion.

 

What is it for anyway? At least in this first batch we get, it seems like Achievements system 0.5... and none of them feel like a complete feature at all. Meaningless, vain, unrewarding and with no effect in gameplay. And using it as a sad excuse to "fix" rangers just makes me like it even less.

 

You already know how I feel about twinks. I can't stand them. They are a cancer in the game that the developers will do nothing about because it would be killing the goose that lays the golden egg. I'm with Harra that this sort of thing should be end game only, or at least LVL 45-50. I don't see this happening though because of the trend we've seen with events. Once upon a time, events were max level only. Then they started opening it up some more, and then they introduced higher difficulties at higher levels, but they've been lowering that over time too.

Basically, what this says to me is that the scores on the Painful Leader-boards will be worthless because they will be clogged with twinks. The only leader boards that will truly impress me will be the times for Excruciating and for Fatal.

 

There are no Painful, Excruciating or Fatal leaderboards there is only one.
The higher the difficulty is the more points you get.

So no filthy twink has a chance getting in the top places because they can only play in baby mode.

 

And since it is solo, they cannot play it at all, even at baby places

 

So that feature is only for solo? I don't get it. If it really is, then I'll be happy, I think. Even the strongest twink can do nothing in PvE without an "escort".
Anyhow, I love how almost everyone in forum really hate twinks but in game, they're still there. Can't we make a petition or something against that cancerous "feature"? I know there were discussions regarding this anomaly but they're buried and forgotten.

I would like to add , please add a function to remove one's self from leaderboard. There are many of us who do not want to be on that leaderboard as it does invade our privacy as to where we farm solo. If anyone else would like this feature added, please post yes to this. This new feature is so damn invasive it bothers me. Many farmers will not want other people to know where they farm most of their time as well as how much time they spend farming. It is a privacy issue. PvP is not a privacy issuue since it is an interaction with other players. Also, if there will not be a reward system, get rid of the whole PvE leaderboard altogether, all it does is remind us how we spend too much time on this game.

 

I imagine that people who are letting twinks in also have twinks as well.

 

This is acceptable. Now if only it worked.
